Iris Frankel-Cohen is a PhD student in the Graduate Program in Urban and Regional Planning, the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion – Israel Institution of Technology. Her supervisor is Prof. Rachelle Alterman. Iris Frankel-Cohen holds an LL.B. (1991) and an LL.M. (2001) from Tel-Aviv University. She is a lawyer with experience in civil, administrative and municipal law. Her dissertation is on social exclusion or its prevention through planning regulations of residential areas. Research Interests: social exclusion, planning regulation, planning law, planning decision making.
